Job Description

You’ll design and operate high‑throughput, event‑driven pipelines across a 100+ microservice ecosystem, build and scale RabbitMQ‑based messaging systems, develop advanced API gateway routing, and architect enterprise SSO with multi‑IdP federation while defining clean service boundaries across Ruby and Python services. You’ll diagnose and eliminate complex production issues, optimize PostgreSQL for heavy‑write workloads, tune Elasticsearch for large‑scale Arabic search relevance, and make informed trade‑offs between multi‑process and async architectures. You’ll own observability with Grafana, Loki, tracing, and SLOs, lead incidents end‑to‑end, drive root‑cause analysis, and build internal tooling that enforces architectural standards and accelerates engineering velocity. You’ll help evolve the platform through service isolation, Kubernetes migration, and CI/CD standardization, working with a stack that includes Ruby on Rails, Python, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, APISIX, and Grafana/Loki. We’re looking for someone with a deep distributed‑systems foundation, strong concurrency and fault‑tolerance instincts, hands‑on experience with event‑driven architectures, and a track record of preventing—not just fixing—production issues. You’ll thrive here if you quickly understand unfamiliar codebases, proactively fix broken systems, think in terms of latency, throughput, failure modes, and cost, treat documentation and observability as defaults, and consistently exceed expectations while seeking out hard, high‑impact challenges.
